We are kicking off 2019 with an outreach project for Martin Luther King Day.  In January, eMite will be working with the Young Black Leadership Alliance (YBLA) and Samaritan’s Feet to provide shoes and socks for 316 students at Hidden Valley Elementary School in Charlotte, North Carolina.  Hidden Valley is a Title 1 school where over 40% of the student population comes from low income families and 20% of the students live in homelessness.

A small thing with a big impact!  eMite is honored to partner with YBLA, an organization that is active among the black community in Charlotte, to provide socks and shoes for children at Hidden Valley.  Samaritan’s Feet, also involved in this outreach, is an organization working to create a world with zero shoeless children. When you give your Mite to Project 13: MLK Day Outreach you will be joining these outstanding organizations in their mission and showing children love!

Give your Mite today and provide socks and shoes to a child in need.  Your Mite will be used to cover children’s feet and bring hope of a brighter tomorrow!
